Let’s be real: for a while, I was becoming one of those girls—the Instagram highlight reel type. Perfect little house, sweet little family, shiny job, never a struggle in sight. But the truth? It was exhausting. I caught myself constantly comparing, constantly performing. And it got heavy. So… this is me stopping.

Kate’s Edit is my way of pulling back the curtain and saying, “Here’s what it really looks like.”

I’m Kate—wife, mom, marketing girlie (just like every other girl in her 20s, lol), fashion lover, and lifelong horse girl. I live somewhere between Millennial and Gen Z, but let’s be honest, I claim Millennial most days.

I’ve got a one-year-old boy, a fluffy poodle named Parker, a bratty horse named Montana, a husband who’s somehow sassier than me, and an Olympic-level eye roll. My father-in-law calls me Hater Kater because I have a habit of responding to everything with “I hate that” or “I hate them”—and honestly, fair.

Most days, I’m a hot mess with a candy-covered coating (aka a cute outfit I can only hope distracts from the chaos I’m radiating).

This space is for working women who are done pretending. It’s for the ones juggling careers, relationships, ambition, identity shifts—and who just want someone to say, “Yeah, same.”
